Bluff Park, 110 S Adams Blvd, Westcliffe, CO, 81252, United States
Music will ring out across the Wet Mountain Valley at the 23nd Annual High Mountain Hay Fever Bluegrass Festival in the heart of the Rockies. Come enjoy stunning views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, a full roster of national and regional bluegrass performers, the youth music program, Friday and Saturday night couples and square dances, and the camaraderie of on-site camping and pickin’.
High Mountain Hay Fever is also the best deal in bluegrass. Four-Day Passes are only $100 before June 1 and $120 after or $130 at the gate. Single ticket prices are $25 for Thursday evening, $60 for all day Friday, $60 for Saturday, and only $40 for Sunday. Tickets are on sale on the website. Dry camping and RV parking are available adjacent to the performance grounds. Specific sites may be reserved and paid in advance only after purchase of a 4 Day Pass. Other folks who want to camp must have first purchased their pass and then buy a first come, first served campsite upon arrival at the campground.
High Mountain Hay Fever is a nonprofit event established in 2003 to raise funds for local health care needs and to benefit the Valley by bringing nationally ranked bluegrass music to the local scene. The Festival has raised over $900,000 for Wet Mountain Valley charitable organizations over the years of its existence. High Mountain Hay Fever Festival Association is run by a dedicated group of volunteers who work year-round to make the Festival happen. It remains an intimate event, avoiding the sprawl and congestion of large festivals while offering nationally recognized bluegrass talent, remaining true to its motto: “Small Scale, Big Time”
